Dr. M, I have finished reading the first series of books and wanted to say that I enjoyed the story very much. You have a style of writing that is easy to read and understand. The stories are wonderful, full of wonder and adventure that made the words float in my mind and drew a nice picture as I read the pages. The characters are very life-like and believeable. I simply enjoyed myself. The story has stayed with me for months, I can hardly wait for the next installment to see where and what is going to happen next. As Always, Lori
An adventure story about a man who finds his life...
Welcome to the Paradise Book Series.
There are five books in this series, the first is now available at Booksurge.com.
This story is based on the interesting transformation of a young man raised in a big West Coast city and who is called to the home of his ancestors by a medicine man leading the Wisnook Tribe.
Harry Raven, the main character, was abandoned in the West Coast area of the United States by his parents for his own safety and health. He was adopted and raised by an older couple who gave him the best education possible.
At the beginning of this transformation, Harry is overweight, sallow, and very much out of shape, He drives a Lexus and lives a typical life of the city and in a rapid transformation, becomes tanned, thin, strong and a character who can motivate, drive, and strengthen everyone he meets.
Harry will become chief of the Wisnook Indians and his name will change. Read and you will see.
Dr Robert E McGinnis

I have enjoyed email from my audience, I wish I could get more of them to comment here. I wanted to comment on Mr Silver's question. I joined the Marine Corps right out of high school. I was a skinny, pale kid with wild hair. I weighed 132 pounds, long before my eleven weeks were up, I weighed 172 and was a well tanned, solid as a rock boot with no hair. It can happen, but more so than that, fiction being what it is, anything can happen, that's the beauty of fiction. By the way, a boot is a recruit in boot camp.

I believe parents, family, friends should start reading to children when they are babies, and helping them learn to read as soon as they show interest. I wish I had that encouragement when i was a child to enjoy reading.

So far I am half way through "A Beckoning of Paradise" and it is very good. It seems to draw me into the adventure that Harry is on. And with each page turned, I can't wait for the next!

There are five books in the Paradise Series and they are fictional with a enough believability to keep the reader looking for real solutions to every situation in comparison with real life.
